Reiki Reiki
(ray-key), meaning Universal Life Force, is a
Japanese energy healing art. This technique generally uses the laying
on of hands to release emotions and stress and promotes healing and relaxation
while working on the "causal level" of dis-ease. Negative
thoughts and feelings are often held in the physical body, which will
disrupt your vital life force. This can result in the diminished function
of organs, tissues and cells. |

I
began my journey in alternative healing techniques due to chronic tension
headaches. I was taking ibuprofen daily and yet did not experience long-term
relief. Through a chain of events I visited a natural healing and energy
practitioner in KC. As I experienced fewer headaches, I came to trust
and appreciate my practitioner and the different healing modalities
he used. The better I felt, the more curious I became. It was with Reiki
that I began my intentional studies in energy therapies. |

Types of sessions available: (Sessions are approximately one hour.) Individual sessions – One-on-one sessions in person. Individual Distance sessions – One-on-one sessions using long distance healing to work with an individual’s energy while they stay quiet in a different location.
